Account and data deletion

Last updated: April 15, 2026

This page explains, for the Inter7 app, who provides the service, how you can request account deletion inside the app, and what happens to your data.

The app name is Inter7. Development and operations are by the Inter7 team, reachable at inter7.app.

Steps to request account deletion (in the app)

  1. Open Inter7 and sign inUse your usual account. You must be signed in to complete deletion securely.
  2. Go to ProfileFrom the main menu, open the Profile screen or tab (your account area and personal settings).
  3. Tap “Delete account”In the profile options, choose Delete account. This starts the request to remove your account from the platform.
  4. Confirm in the dialogRead the warning and confirm. After confirmation, your account is processed for deletion immediately; your session ends and you will no longer be able to sign in with the same credentials.

Data that is deleted and data that may remain

When you confirm deletion in the app, we remove your account and related data according to our current infrastructure. The lists below summarize what end users should expect.

Types of data that are deleted

  • Authentication account (credentials and user identifier in the login service).
  • Profile and personal data stored in the platform user table, plus records tied to your user that the database deletes in cascade (for example, preferences and per-user usage data stored by user, notifications, schedule assignments linked to your ID, in-app reading favorites, and other records with the same deletion rule).
  • Profile photo and files in that folder in app storage.
  • Announcements you created, including attachments for those announcements in storage.
  • Content and metadata that existed only to support your account and are removed when the user is deleted.

What may be kept or left without identifying you

  • Some operational church records (for example, services or activities already created) may remain due to database rules, with optional author fields cleared (no longer identifying the removed user).
  • Information your church or others stored outside Inter7 (messages, files shared on other channels) is not erased by this action—only data under Inter7 platform control related to your account.
  • Infrastructure backups and cloud-provider logs may hold residual data during those systems’ normal rotation and retention window.
  • Data already downloaded on your device or in cache may persist until removed locally or when the app stops using it.

Timing and additional storage

Deletion of active data for your account in our database starts immediately after you confirm in the app. Copies in backups and provider audit trails may retain aggregated or residual data for a limited time (typically up to about 30 days, depending on backup cycles and provider policies), after which they are deleted or replaced in normal maintenance.
